During the COVID-19 pandemic, most of our Exclusive Provider Network offices are closed for elective and non-emergent care. The safety of our members and your dental team is our utmost concern.
When a member has a dental concern or possible emergency, we want you to be able to evaluate that patient virtually to keep them out of your office when possible for the safety of you, your staff, and the patient.
Teledentistry is a means to perform a remote evaluation of the patient. The MPE Fund will reimburse our network providers for a D9995 in addition to a D0140, D0170 or D0171 (whichever is appropriate).
